damn alternator nut
i'm trying to put my u/d pulleys on, and my impact wont take the nut off of the alternator. does anybody have any tips? its a craftsman gun that runs at 90 PSI, i thought that would be plenty, but i guess its not. i tried letting it soak in weazel **** (wd-40) and that didnt work, and i cant just put a big bar on a ratchet and crank it because the belt spins. any tips?

mine wouldnt even budge it...maybe its my compressor, its just a small craftsman. it will run way over 90 PSI though, so i doubt thats the problem...maybe my gun is junk.

I held the pulley as firm as possible with gloves on and my 90psi impact and it came right off.

this is exactly what I did also.
let your pressure build up and leave the gun on the nut for a while. It will come loose eventually.
