C&L Meters. What do you guys think?

C&L Meters. What do you guys think?
Who here has the C&L mass meter with the true-flow pipe they sell with it? You just transfer over your stock electronics and the injector metering is all in the sample tubes you buy right? Also how do you like it? Any quirks you guys have noticed after putting it on? I'm thinking about buying a new meter cause my Pro-M one took a deuce...

I have the 73mm and it works great. It looks like the sensor just swaps over, but I couldn't tell you because when I put mine in, it was already assembled.
I have no driveability problems, and a few more horses.

ORIGINAL: Black Snake
Get a 90mm Lightning MAF, its cheaper and works better.

This is not a bolt in swap.
My C&L has treated me well for nearly 10yrs. I have used several sample tubes, and had no MAF problems.
Your stock MAS sensor will swap directly into the C&L tube.

mine works great. its a 76mm with trueflow inlet pipe. the only prob i had was getting it to fit was just a tad bit too tight so i had to ....make a lil extra room for it that may be because of my ebay fenderwell intake i dunno but works great now.

I never gave it much thought til now..
What makes C&L so bad?
What design feature is the problem?
The only parts C&L produces are the MAF Tube (73mm, 76mm, etc) and the sample tube (red, blue, etc).
The electronics are Ford parts.
I have some machining experience (both manual and CNC), and it is not terribly expensive to get production tolerances very tight.
I guess what I am saying is - I seriously doubt there are any significant variances in the hardware that C&L produces.
So... What makes their product inconsistent?
I have heard that C&L meters are less accurate, but have never seen proof of this myself.
I would appreciate anyones thoughts on this.
