The distributor bolt for a 94 is 1/2, right? I bought a distributor wrench, but it doesn't seem to be helping in loosening the bolt. There's just enough room to get a small turn in, but the wrench seems to be slightly too big for the bolt. The distributor wrench is stripping away though, not the bolt. Any ideas?

Try other sizes? Maybe a metric size will fit on it a lil better

13mm fit perfectly on my 95GT. But 1/2 inch should have worked as well. I just used a 13mm yesterday to adjust my timing.

I just re-checked my timing last weekend, and I used a 1/2" wrench which worked just fine.
