Default couple questions

what was the first year for EFI? i think it was 86 but im not sure (i travel from houston to denver a lot so i dont want to have to f*** with a carb all the time)

what is the highest mileage you would go for? i know the 5.0s go pretty much forever, i just wanted to know what the highest mileage you would recommend to buy is.

thanks!

86 was the first real EFI, previous years had 2 injectors and was a crappy design, and if the car runs great I wouldnt really look at the miles, as long as everything functions fairly well Id go for it

90-93 have the best all around setups, and i wouldn't buy anything with over 125,000 mile son it and it all depends on how the previous owner maintained it.

++1 I agree. If the car has 100,000 - 125,000 and he can prove to you that it was maintenced on time than you shouldnt have anyting to worry about.
