O2 sensor and associated issues

O2 sensor and associated issues
Quick question. Can a faulty O2 sensor cause a rough idle in a 95 Mustang GT?
I know that the 95 mustangs only had 2 O2 sensors, as opposed to 4. Right now, when my car warms up and has been running, I get a CEL that comes off and on. The code is a 176, which indicates lean conditions in bank 2. Now I know that I am not actually running lean. As soon as I shut the car off, the CEL seems to reset itself and doesn't come on until I have been driving a few more miles. Other times it doesn't come on at all.
Since the mileage is 80,000 and I know O2 sensors go bad at around 75k, I figured hte problem is a faulty sensor. But would that also cause a rough idle? I know that in later models with 4 sensors, if it senses that you are running lean or rich, it can alter the flow. Also if it triggers the CEL it puts your car in "limp mode." But I didn't think this was the case with the 95 GT due to the fact that there are only 2 sensors.
Is there something that would cause bad O2 sensors to cause a rough idle when stopped at redlights or even in park? Everything seems perfect in everyother condition.

RE: O2 sensor and associated issues
I pulled off and cleaned the IAC and the T'B last week. Forgot to mention that. Both were actually relatively clean.
Only mods are shift kit, 3.73 gears (neither one would affect it), also have UD pulleys, CAI (was wondering if the CAI was causing it,) and Flowmaster catbacks.

No, I haven't physicall pulled the injectors yet. I ran some cleaner through them but that was about it. I was thinking more towards O2 sensors because it was only showing one bank as being lean. I figured it it was actually injectors or something, both sensors would pick it up. Of course, i could be wrong.
I DO only have 2 sensors. I was refering to newer models that ran 4. If you had a problem with them and it triggered the CEL, it would toss you into limp mode. I didn't think the 5.0s did that. Just wanted to figure out exactly what the O2 sensor does in the 95, LoL. Does it alter or change anything if it goes bad?
