Ok I kno this isn't the right forum, but I know you guys in here, and I've only seen like 1 person at a time in the street strip forum....


Anyways, my friend has a c-1500 gmc truck. He has 4.10's, supercharger running 10psi, bigger heads and cam, whole exhaust and back end is redone, 3.73 gears, estimated 500-550hp. Well this kid that lives around us hails his almight M3, stock except for intake/exhaust, and thinks its jesus. My friend raced him, smoked him, and then told us "well I kept up until your supercharger kicked in." Well this kids brother came home 2 nights ago with an audi S4 running 14psi. We're cruisin and this kid usinghis brothers S4 wants a race, mind you my friend with the truck has 6 points on his license for 120 in a 55 and racing, he accepts the challenge, they go from a 5mph roll and my friend stomps him literally by like 7 cars. Then the kid complains how he missed a gear and how my friends truck doesn't take skill to drive u just push a pedal. So round 2 came around. From a 10mph roll lets him get out one car length infront of him after he got on it, then my friend goes, and from wat we could tell was catching up no problem.

Well round 3 goes down 2night for 100 bucks! Who do u think will win, we know my friends truck is fast, but no idea about mods on the s4 wat so ever. Just trying to get opinions on here.


Again wrong forum I know, but I feel prett comfortable in here, and no one really goes into the S/S section from wat I can see. Thanks and can't wait to see the verdict of the 5.0 section! (I'll post results from 2night with my sidekick right after it goes down!)

sounds like the truck has been killing this s4. im not a fan of "fast trucks" but this one sounds pretty cool.

go to the local track and race the 1/4 mile, dont do it on the street or only go 0-60mph

What year was this M3 ??? The newer ones as pretty quick... Im suprised he didnt beat the truck w/ the stock M3. It might have 550 horsepower but just remember how big it is

Question though.. is he running 3.73s or 4.10s? You listed both

Most trucks come with 3.73's & 4.10's. 4.10's are usually an option though I believe.

i am surprised he put that much money in it. well i guess it depends on what year it is but my old 93 gmc sierra i had was so slow it couldn't get out of it own way.

Newer ones though have pretty decent power...

The new Rams and Titans are torque monsters... they get up and go, my dads hemi can burn the tires until you decide to let off the gas.

yea he has a 2003 c-1500, a single cab with a 6 foot bed. He bought it used and it was already supercharged but he's put prob 4k more into it. The truck hasnt been killing the s4, it was just last night everything happened.

I'll post some pics of the truck if you guys are intrested, its pretty nice! He pulls the m3 by 5 cars easy when they race...i believe its a 1997 m3?


as for the person who said go 0-60...HA the s4 would win everytime. My friends truck is soooo nasty that you can punch it down from a stop/slow roll and he'll spin all the way to 3rd gear at about 60-70mph.

88blueGT: thats exactly why i thought it'd be close. The s4 wieghs so much less but has less power....it should be a good one 2night! I think im going to video tape it, to document it.
