Almost ready to start puttin back together my block, got it all torn down today and found a good surprise when i got down to the cam. Its not stock! Its a ford racing E303, not bad for me not knowing that it was installed. I was pretty excited to find that i had an aftermarket cam already, may not be the best but maybe with my ported and polished heads ill see some better hp gains now

Nice find! Did the car have a cammed idle to it when it was running, or did it sound stock? Were any other mods done, or just the cam?

just sounded stock so i never even thought of tearing it apart to look at the cam. but my exhaust is pretty loud and low sounding anyways because of the custom exhaust i did to it.

See I have this hunch that I'm gonna find some suprises when I finally tear into my motor. Did the car feel faster than normal?

ya my car was tearing up other stock foxes, both manual and auto, and off the line i was slaughtering many different kinds of cars. But the stock gears were holding me back, now i will be able to kick some azz lol.

When theyd ask how i beat them i would jsut jokingly say, "its an interceptor" lol even though i knew that had nothing to do with it.

i guess i did also have Cold air, but that was a custom job as well lol, im a such a hick

Thanks for the info. I wanna put mine on a dyno one of these days, and find out if it's stock or not. One day.
