Default Throttle Body

i was looking into building an engine over the course of the net year and i was wondering what would be the best throttle body to have in it. its going to be the ford racing gt-40 302 i was thining the bbk 65 mm throtle body but does anyone have any suggestions?

bbk 70 mm is what i have and my stang runs sweet, it revs sooo freakin fast and i have senn 70 mm put on a lke bone stock stang and it definetly isnt to big, GO FOR THE 70!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lets see some more responses. anyone else agree that the 70 mm will be cool? i supose a 70 mm egr and massair will be good too? or is this jumping the gun without adding more fuel?? thanks.

Well you'll have to add bigger injectors, my guess would be 24 lb.

But regardless, if your planning on modding a lot, bigger injectors are always good...

But I'd say 70mm if you plan on modding it pretty well, if not i'd go 65mm. I bet you could keep stock injectors with the 65 too.

Righto, 70mm is pushing new injectors, especially if you're going to be using (EFI) big MAS and intake or (CARB) larger cfm induction. So it should be based on your final goal for the engine/car. If your going to go all out, why not change the injectors and fuel pump and go with a large induction system. But if you want to keep it a little more mild and have good power but not have to go through the money and time of the fueling system, then go with the 65mm.

what is the size of stock. this sucks mine is still in the body shop so i cant check ne of this myself and i wanna start buyin mods
