Default RE: help snmoking brakes

ORIGINAL: dj1203

its the passneger side rear. its a disc brake.... there is some fluid leaking from it... i am guessing its from the caliper.... where would i find a good relacement caliper?
Did you remove the line? Where is the caliper leaking? If so, what condition was the copper crush gasket/washer? You should replace them when and if you remove the lines.

If you removed the lines, did your brakes, put the lines back on, when you bled the brakes, the caliper would have come out, leaked from the line to caliper connection, and not been 'sucked' back in. When you replaced the pads, did the piston go back in the caliper easily? If not, it'll definitely need a new caliper.

Also - check your rotor if you drove it around as you may have warped it.
