I bought this car without an intake...The front passenger side lower intake bolt is broken off in the head. What should i do to take it out? I'd rather not take the head completely off and bring it to a machine shop to get drilled and tapped. Any other ideas?

Try putting penetrating oil on it and let it sit for a couple of hours then try an easy out on it.

It's worth a try.

if the bolt is broken off down inside the head then your screwed.... get some aftermarket heads and suck it up..

if its only broken down past the lower, then take off all the IM bolts and pull real hard, the intake will come off even if the bolt is on an angle... then get some vise grips on it and twist it out

actually the intake is already off... i bought it like this. theres not much bolt to grap, someone suggested heating it with a torch and trying to break it free...i wasn't too sure about that

use a bolt extractor bit, put a torch on ur head u gonna

all you need is a drill and a ez-out brokin bolt kit from sears

all you do is put some pbblaster or something on it a few day befor then drill a small hole in the bolt them use the bolt remover its like s backwards bolt it bolts down in to the bolt so you can take a socket and get it out \

the kit is like 40.00 but it beats buying new heads if you dont need them

aright i tried to get the bolt out with no luck....i took the head off and i'm bringing it to a local racing engine shop to be drilled and tapped. any tips on putting the head back on? what kinda gasket should i get, things i should look out for? thanks guys
