i have decided that its time for a new trans, my current one whines like hell and you can hear it in front of the car when i drive just to show how loud it is, when i follow my friends they always make a comment about it, but now im want to get a new one and which company should i go to, im looking for something a little stronger than stock but not something that will break the bank either,

Mine whines when I push in the clutch. I just though it was the through out bearing ready to go. It doesn't do it until it gets warm. Then when it does start to whine if I push in the clutch about three or four times consecutivly the whine goes away.

Any thoughts anyone?

i agree i think it is also the input shaft, thru process of elimination, aka, sitting out of gear and ingaging and disengaging the clutch, and sitting under the car while it is running with someone putting the cluch in and taking it off, i also feel a horible vibration when the input shaft is spining, and when i put the clutch in and the input shaft stops spining, you can hear it slow down like a jet engine.
