Default What ATF should I go with? new AOD...

Getting ready to install my new Performance Automatic SuperStreeter AOD, Edge Torque converter, and new FRPP flex plate this weekend... what type of ATF (that is readily available) should I go with? What brand has good head resistance... must be Mercon III compatible....

mopar atf, ford type f, of b&m trick shift. b&m has the most friction material in it, mopar atf second and ford f is 3rd. it helps the friction plates in the transmission hold.

I've been told Trick Shift is good stuff... regular or synthetic ? Do you know of anywhere that sells it?

just go with regular off the shelf tranny fluid, I've ran B&M trickshift in other cars and it really isn't anything special for the price.

I just have this thing in the back of my head saying running house brand atf in a brand new performance trans/torque converter is like putting Pep Boys tires on your ferrari

It's not dude, you don't have to have expensive **** to be the best . You'll be fine trust me, let's put it this way, would you rather spend 55 bucks on JUST tranny fluid or would you rather spend 25ish. Save your self the money and buy a tank of gas.

it doesnt burn up as easy as cheap ****, it keeps clutches and bands from glazing, its reccomended for use in transmissions that use shift kits, he spent 1000 on a tranny why skimp and save $20? heel if he does want to save 20 buy mopar atf, its almost the same and costs what the el cheapo crap costs.
