Sure...I'm not saying he should just open the gap up as wide as it'll go...
It's a trial and error thing...Really best done on a dyno.

As far as the boost levels you may see there are many factors such as restrictions before and after the blower. Where are you getting your signal?

Edit: I forgot to mention I have mine gapped at .035 (Autolite 3924's) with no problems. What comprises the rest of your motor?

Not sure how much gap I'm running now, but I did just have it dyno'd. I should have had it done then. I have split fire plugs and gapped them according to stock 5.0 specs.

You're right in that it's REALLY tight under the hood and I couldn't figure out a palce to mount it. It would probably have to be somewhere in the car. May be the passenger side foot well. I'm getting about the higher boost reading right as I goose throttle, then it backs off a little.

The rest of my mads are TF Street upper/lower intake, 73 MM MAf, 70 MM TB, BBK 1 5/8 inch equal length headers, full 3 inch exhaust and Borla mufflers, Mass Air Conversion, pulleys, MSD Blaster coil, 9mm motorsport wires, fluidyne aluminum radiator, 30 lb. inj., 190 lph FP, and I some other stuff that I don't think is relevant.
