Default Strange vibration......what's wrong? :-/

Everything is all good until I hit about 73-75 mph. and then my car begins to vibrate pretty good from the back of the car it feels like. I replaced the U-joints thinking they were bad but nothing got better. My tires are pretty worn and the right rear wheel is bent but. You can see it wobble slightly if you hang your head the passenger window, but it doesnt seem bad enough to cause this vibration. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you

i got the same deal going on... could be that driveshaft could use a rebalancing....or the rear end needs some attention....

Put your spare tire on in place of the bent wheel to see if the vibrations go away. I have a hunch it will. Bent wheels don't ride to good.[:'(]

Yeah man even if its not the problem still get a new rim for the back. Maybe you need a re-balance on the tires.

Your driveshaft isnt likely to start vibrating all of a sudden by itself, it usually takes a gear change. Tires can start off good, then get worse and worse. Usually the steel belt in the radial tire begins to shift causing the balance to go out of whack. Eventually bad vibration can cause a tire to blow out, sometimes violently. The spare tire suggestion was a good one, you should try it.

One thing I did do was move the bent wheel up to the front and the vibration seemed to have moved up there. So I guess I am in denial lol. So it is either the tire or the rim.
