When you say you've sprayed carb cleaner, do you mean around the gasket areas of the intake?

Did you just install the intake and the problem started?
If so, did you use the cork end gaskets on the lower (I chuck 'em - they blow out)?
What else are you running (blower?)

Have you tried to clean and regrease the 10 pin connector (salt & pepper things on the back side of the upper plenum)? Sometimes when you do something like an upper and lower, you'll be moving the connector and it'll find a spot with a bad connection.

Have you a freshly oiled K&N filter? If so, have you cleaned the MAF sensor?

How's your TPS? Setting?

Reset the computer (remove battery cables for 15-20 minutes).

Yes all of those I never use the cork or rubber ends eaither. I have not tried cleaning the connectors new mass air and sensor hava had battery disconnected numerouse times. no blower NOS but havnow ttried it yet I have four of these cars and all are hooked up phat and none have probs like this one. I will refer to the prob one as the white car and my blue car has same stuff but 347 no probs at all. I have ewven swapped out parts and still prob remains and I am to the point of putting better ins on it and burning it.

I'd try cleaning the 10 pin connector & when you say the MAF is new, is it a whole unit, electronics and all or is it like a C&L where you use your stock electronics? When I say clean the MAF, I mean the hot wire...just spray it with electrical connector cleaner or a brake cleaner that doesn't leave a residue.

Try clocking the MAF meter - C&L's are notorious for being picky when it comes to turbulence -- When did this problem start?
