Default Alternator

Whats my factory one rated at anyone know? Mine blew out tonite I need a replacement, im prolly going to search a bone yard and get one to hold me off because im super tight on money right now. Should I just be asking the junk yards for an alternator for a 5.0, or whats going to be different between mine and say one for a fox body?

sn95's came stock with the 130amp 3G alternator.

can pick them up rebuilt for about $100-130

one off a Fox body will NOT work, those are only 75amps
your car with electric fan and such needs the 130amp

I thought I read somewhere that the Cobras had a 160 amp. I called the junk yard he said all alternators are on shelfs, he'll find me one that will work for mine. Thanks guys
