If it's fuel injected, you can put the gas to the floor while cranking - it'll shut the injectors off.

Try this, and report back.

Sounds to me like you are not getting any fire from your plugs. That would be on my check list. Have you done anything to your car recently?

How much gas did you add to your tank? Are you on a hill?

Are you getting power to the fuel pump? Can you hear it turn on? Try to push the fuel turn on switch. Could be a faulty coil. Have you messed with the distributor for anything recently?

I just put the engine in less than a month back....
I know one of the wires fell on the header and burnt a little.
I don't know where the fuel turn on switch is
and the hold the gas to the floor and crank didn't work either

Wrap that mug up with some electrical tape for a quick fix. Get new wires soon as possible.

burnt wire for sure, when the key is in accesory posistion you should hear the fuel pump kick on... if so your getting fuel from it, could be the starter, try hitting it with a hammer as you try to start it... takes two people, most likely wire though

Checking all of the wires. My fuel switch is in the trunk, I have a coupe. I am not sure where it is on your car. Listen to see if you hear the fuel pump turn on.

I'm going to get wires right now...since I still have 2 hours
Are Accel wires ok, or do I need to fork over big bucks and get the MSD?

Make sure you are getting fire so we can cross that off the list. It is easy to check. Pull off a plug wire, stick your finger in the hole and get your buddy to turn the engine over.
