injector size

RE: injector size
The maf has to be calibrated to the injectors, so that it knows what kind of signal to send to the ecu to match to the fuel coming in. Stock meters are designed to work for 19# injectors. If you go to 24#'s, you either have to have your stock unit recalibrated or purchase an aftermarket meter calibrated to 24# injectors (they all come setup for 19# unless you specify otherwise).
FYI - getting larger injectors will NOT increase power in anyway whatsoever - unless you are maxing out your 19#'s already. Stock 19#ers are good for 300+ hp, simply by bunping the fuel pressure or increasing the their pulse width - all stuff any competent tuner can do. So unless you've added 75+ horsepower to your stang, you don't need them. Even if you got 24# injectors and a calibrated mass air meter, your still gonna have the same amount of fuel going into your engine - your cpu only sends in what it needs.
