Default got this after market gauge, comments please..

hi buds.. ok here goes again.. long story short, my temp gauge was reading wrong.. change it with another temp gauge from the junk as the dealer didnt have the part and it would have taken a month to order, me changing the gauge didnt solve the prob, changed the sending units as well and had my Radiator cleaned.. no solver... toke the car to a ford mechanic and the electrician tried.. no resualts.... even when i flood the rad with water from the outside.. like spraying it.. used to make the gauge read on the line above C or a hair lower.. now its like quarter way... wrong wrong wrong readings.... anyways....so.... i came up with this one and only solution,, get an external temp gauge.. and here it is.. and before you bach the make of it, here i bash my self "BASH BASH BASH"[sm=chairshot.gif][sm=headbang.gif][sm=icon_beat.gif]

so heres a pic, and the holder i'll be using.... can anyone please tel me abit about the temp numbers.. like what would be coolish and normal and "ITS ON FIRE, STOP AND TURN OFF"

the gauge is electro not mechanical..

thanks my loyal mustang buds

Normal = 180 - 200, so just above the middle on that gauge. Where it is red will be too hot, blue too cold. The gauge doesn't look bad, where did you get it?

Tumbleweed got it from the local industrial area here in kuwait, a car accessories store.. the sell RPM gauges zenon lights and mostly universal stuff... i tried the the gauge in my bedroom hooked it up to a battery 12v and boiled a mug of water seems to work goodie....

Looks good, the aftermarket gauge I have doesnt work right. I have been chasing a overtemp problem for a week now, no results. It must be the gauge.
