Basically, I'm looking for a ratchet shifter for my 95 GT. Obviously, it's an automatic transmission (AODE - 470RW.) I want to be able to shift it through 1 - 2 - 3/D without having to worry about squeezing a small trigger and slipping past the intended gear. I also want one that will either let me shift into OD ratchet-style or one that will at least have a button for OD somewhere (This tranny has a sutton to turn OD off and on.) Oh, and to make things even more complicated, I was hoping for a simple bolt on application. I didn't want to have to change any cables or anything in the tranny. Anyone have any suggestions? Do you think this one will work the way I want it to?

It seems like it will do exactly what I want it to do. Only one question. Will this affect teh OD in any way? I can't see where the OD toggle switch or gear is there.

How does it work with OD? Was it fairly straight forward to install or do I have to change anything?

it was pretty easy to install, it took about 2 hrs.. i have had it for a while.... i love it to no end... its the best thing since sliced bread!!! lol... if you need any help just ask!

By any chance, do you happen to have the install instructions in digital format? I tried to look on their website, but i can't seem to find any. i was just curious what I was getting myself into...although I can't imagine it will be that bad

2 hours my ***! LoL

I just finished... 4 hours later. Of course, it was mostly my fault. Didn't realize you needed extra wiring to run the ground and the hot wire for the LED. Then I had a little issue onvolving a lost bolt

But in the end, it's looks and feels great! Well worth it!
