Transmission blew up need suggestions!
i posted before that my trans was making some loud grinding noises and now it has gotten severly worse and whines and makes horrific grinding noises, im about 100% sure that all of what berrings existed in there are now all gone, are there any good places to get a new trans that can handle 350 hp easily? im not looking for a race trans but something that better than stock, im realy in a jam here so any sugestions would be greatly appreciated. and also what clutch should i get? (it is a 5 spd. and its in a 1994 mustang gt with 97XXX miles on it)

alrighty bud. I can help u from experience.
first things first, which clutch? I replaced my clutch.
Centerforce Dual Friction, hands down. If you get this youll need a new flywheel, throwout bearing, clutch cable and some other goodies i believe. itll probably end up being around 600.
as far as the tranny, look for a Tremec TKO 500/600. I think your stock clutch will work with a 500. Youll need a 31 spline driveshaft yoke, modify the crossmember, and the tremec bellhousing. it wont be cheap. for the tranny/bellhousing/yoke youre looking at over 2g. thats not including the clutch and whatnot.
