I have 275 40 ZR 18 on the back and 245 40 ZR18 on front (Chrome Cobra R's) . I like to feel the road and have plenty of grip in hard corners. Looks great but would look even better with new springs. I have plenty of room in the fender wells up front, next time I get tires I will go with 265's up front.

Yeah, they're 7" wide. 245's don't look quite right on them.

'93 Cobra's came w/a 7.5" wide rim and 245's. 94-04 Mustangs w/17" were 8" wide, and came w/245's

Also, those really wide tires start to get real expensive.

Do you have any photos of your car madmac? I was thinking of going 18" but then I'd have to go w/ a replica 95 cobra r rim.... I just don't want to get a wheel that is going to look like A@* 2 years down the road... Curious as to the luck others have had w/ replicas.

Yeah, the more rubber, the more $$...I guess I have 245's on my 16X7's currently.. They don't look too bad, I just think 16's are too small... Use to have the 15X7 turbine styles on my 88 fox body back in the day, now 15's are only on kias...!

Those will look good. I got my wheels from a local speed shop for $750.00. They were repo's off of another Stang.
