RE: Anybody using TFS Stage 1 cam with an AOD ?
is it possible to run 1.7 rockers on the stock (or the ported) heads & cam ? This would give me more lift but still within reason and keep my stocklike idle right? Just a thought in the back of my head..

yup its fine to do. with stock heads you will only gain 2-3hp with 1.7 rockers, with good heads you can gain up to 30 with the stock cam.
thumper e7's suck, they are not worth the money and wont even come close to the power of the trickflow street kit. thumper e7's flow as well as stock gt 40's for more money.

I'm intrigued by GT40s, the only problem with that is you cant get the iron ones new anymore and if u pick them up used on ebay you still have to get them checked over by a machine shop... What kinda power do you think I could make with a Trick flow intake, GT40s with 1.7s and the stock cam... I already have headers, h-pipe, and exhaust, and plan on upgrading my MAF and TB in the next week or 2...

And no one laugh at my jacked up bumper... used to have a tow hitch in there, so I cut that out and decided what the hell I'll cut some exhaust holes in there as well. (My plans were to get a cobra bumper eventually)
