uhh the idea isnt japanese nor is it made by japanese. 35 percent of its parts are made outside of the US ( not just japan ) but its still assembled right here in america, michigan to be exact. so i dont know where you got that BS from.

nuthin is pure american anymore...not even our prescious fords....chevy,dodge there all alotta foreign

very true and its been that way for a while. another reason why that shouldnt really be a factor when buying most cars unless there's a track record indicating the craftsmanship was crap. from what i've read the 05-06 GT's are holding up great.
