Default RE: Aftermarket cam guys...

sorry to hijack the thread but can you get a sound clip of your car? i've always wondered what the F cam sounds like. if you could i would greatly appreciate it.
Sorry buddy, i really wish i could help you out on this one, i really do. But i cant, i dont have anything to record it on, i moved out and left all my stuff at the parents house. And im a long way from their house. Its nice and choppy though, shakes my windows and when my doors are open they shake really nice. lol. Sets off car alarms just idling, i got flow 40's and dumps though so it sounds alot more choppy echoing off the ground under the car.

I am currently removing my b cam and putting in an f cam. How do you like the f cam?
I like it, alot of people say its an older cam, which it is. But its got a ton of top end on it, ill tell you that. From about 3000+ it pulls like a beast. Its more of a supercharger grind, but i like it, it sounds really nice, everyone i have come up to me tells me its a really nice sounding cam. Plus its not so big that it beats the **** out of the valvetrain. Cold starts are a b*tch in it though because it doesnt want to run worth a damn on cold mornings, so like i said i have to sit there and pump the gas a little while to get it to idle. But once it does it sits at a nice and lopey 800rpm. I dont drive my Mustang regularly though so it doesnt bother me any.
