Default Help me blow some $$$!

Well it looks like I'm going to come into about an extra $4,500 in play cash within the week. So now I have to decide what I want to do next. My current mods are listed in my sig. I was thinking of going with one of three options:

1) Buy a nice 6 PSI or 9 PSI supercharger and bolting it onto the stock engine (after upgrading the injectors and fule pump of course)

2) Buying a nice 400 HP stroker engine from this site and dropping that in the car instead of getting a S/C.

3) getting a Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Engine Kit from here complete with Head Combo, Rockers, Head Bolts, Intake, Camshaft, Pushrods, Timing Set, Valve Covers, and Gaskets.

Now if I were to go with option 1, I think I would go with option 3 as well and that would put me at or just over the $4,500 mark. But is it worth going with options 1 and 3 with my current block / pistons, etc? (internals are not forged.)

Here are problems I anticipated:

Options 1 & 3 combined
As stated, the engine is stock. Would it be able to handle this without crapping out on me? Seems a lot to ask for an old stock block. Would it be better to simply go with option 1 instead?

Option 2 Only
Biggest problem... this will cost about $3,700 plus shipping. That doesn't leave me with much money and I don't feel comfortable enough to do the engine swap myself. How much would it cost me to get this done and is it even worth it? I love the extra power and I love the engine itself... but not so sure I could do something this major on my own.

So here's where you all come into play. Help spend my cash! Questions? Comments? Suggestions?

As always, I look forward to the input. Thanks in advance for the help!!

I'd go with the trick flow kit.

no point in putting nice parts onto an old bottom end, build the motor now and save again later

I like the TF kit, but like Primetime said... is it worth putting it on an old stock block with no forged internals? And I love the stroker. I'd LOVE to go that option, but not sure of how difficult it will be to actually get it and have it put in. And it seems like getting a S/C alone is a waste of monsy. Well, not a waste, but I'd rather dump the whole $4,500 into the car. Right now, according to the poll, most people are saying to go with the stroker. maybe I'll just have to suck it up and go with that option.

Anyone have a rough idea of what it might cost to do an engine swap? At least a ballpark figure. Most stuff I do myself but this is a bit out of my league. A little too intimidating for me

Wow, this isn't easy!

I say get the TF Kit and buy a new R302 Block and build a nice short block and transfer the parts to the new block when you get it completed

Sorry, but if I don't dump it into the car, then it's going towards gambling, hookers, beer, and pizza. But you're more than welcome to stop by.

Because everyone would have voted for that. And at the end of the night when the hookers are gone and the beers are empty.. I'd be $4,500 poorer with nothing to show for it..other than a hangover and possibly an STD or two.

So I tried to limit the poll choices to something that would last a bit longer... well.. longer than the party at least. Maybe not as long as the STD.
