the first couple weeks i had my stang, i was turning in my neighborhood streets and goosed it, my front tires wound up on one side of the median the backs on the other side before i knew it. i ended up getting out and lifting the back end til it started rolling then i jumped in and drove away, pretty embarassing, but i know better now

i was kinda used to front wheel drive [:@]

*comfort*

Unfortunatly alot of people learn that RWD is ALOT different from FWD the hard way... My first job as soon as i turned 16 was as a lot attendant at toyota and i managed to work there 1.5 years and never wreck/ding a single car. I learned about RWD cars the hard way about 8 months later when I was driving my dads 12second 350z and decided to show off and turn the traction control off when turning around a corner in the parking lot at my work(best buy) and BAM before I knew it the car went sideways right, then left, then right again, and right into a curb... Luckily I was able to control it parallel with the crub so I only gave the wheel a little road rash...

My dads reaction was alot worse than paying the 100 bucks to re-finnish the wheel []; since then ive had my practice on RWD cars... My dads car goes sideways alot faster than my mustang(at least with the TC off) so learning to control the butt in that car made me a perddy good RWD Driver....

Sorry for your luck man; when you get it running again I would take it to a big ol' parkin lot and practice putting it sideways and recovering it... thats how I learned...

I was cruising Woodward last night w/ a few buddies, we park in a lot right next to a light and a Michigan turnaround. A guy with a turbo 'Vette came around the turnaround and decided to show off... He lost it and took out a pole on the opposite side of the road. I'm sure he learned a lesson as well.

Not to drive a Chevy

not all RWD cars would do wat a mustang would do but those cars are usually luxury sport cars like bimmers / audi's

ive taken turns at 60+mph in my moms 328i and it just screached a little...the TC light came on and i was rocking near 80mph when it lit up

that car takes turns like its on rails

i would never try anything like that in my stang tho.. id be sideways at 30mph
