So I was having stalling problems at stop lights so i replaced my IAC and when i tried to start it, it wouldnt hold an idle...then I put another gasket on and it holds an idle but at 2000RPM ....and my CAI is sucking really hard...so i turned it off and tried to restart it and now it wont start at all!!! any suggestions???????? thanks guys
Whats with the unpluggin the negative battery cable? I replaced my IAC last year, and have not done that. Do you unplug the negative while the car is running? I know its a stupid question, but I want to learn.
put the old one back on, but leave it unplugged. set the base idle with the screw on the side to about 600 rpms, then put the new one on and plug it in.. see if that will work for ya.
