Default Gears at dealership?

I want to get geasr for my 95 GT it's an Auto Vert... so do I want 3.73s or 3.55s ... it is a Daily driver.... Anyway.. I live in kind of a small town... where would I look to have this done, or should I just take it to the Ford dealership? (after I buy them from Jegs or some other similar outfit)
Thanks..

If I am you I would go 3.73...............I don't think you will find much difference with those two anyway.....

4.10 for performance and 3.73 for performance and MPG..........

Here is what I hav ebeen told............

3.73 for T-5 and 4.10 for AOD................but mines not a DD. I have my 4.10s in the trunk right now ( I am AOD) so can not tell you how they feel.....?

I have the 3.73 and it could definatly be a daily driver, probably the only complaint I have about them is that 1st is a little short but thats why they are there.

I didnt pay attention but i just realized you have AOD... if you want any performance you have to go with at least the 3.73 but the 4.10s would be best if you want really noticeable perf gains MPG will go down but hey; you dont buy a mustang for good MPG

3.73 for Auto, 3.55 Manual, and take it to a dealer, they have techs and warranty there work.

Check out this calculator here. Enter your tire size, enter your gear ratio, select your transmission, select what gear you want to use (probably 3rd in you're using AODE... can't really count OD.)

Using that calculator, you can either enter your speed and find out what the RPM will be, or you can enter your RPM for the gear (i.e. redline) and figure out what the speed is.
