Default 275+ Hp for cheap???

I have a 94 Gt with headers, exhaust and a K&N airfilter and is running an estimated 230-240 hp. What would be the cheapest way for me to move up a bracket to the 275+ hp range? The only condition I have is that the car has to stay naturally aspirated. Any input would be appreciated.

There really isn't any way to get Cheap..unless you steal the parts!

You should go with a head cam and intake combo and a chip.

If you're staying All-Motor, and you want to stay cheap... I guess going with the C/H/I would get you there. As stated above, heads are a great start. Maybe some nice gt40's off of an old 5.0 explorer thats in a junkyard.

heads if you want to stay N/A but thats not cheap. even if you get the heads cheap you still have to get new head bolts (or head studs), head gaskets, intake manifold gasket, depending on which heads you buy you might need rockers and hardened push rods

Heads sounds like the way to go. I was considering going with some gt40 heads. Anyone know aprox how much a decent H/C/I swap would cost.

GT-40X heads cost about $1,100

Twisted wedge heads cost about $1,200

AFR 165's cost about $1,3000

each will give you what you want

also Thumper ported stock heads for about $850 will get you there

depending on the combo a H/C/I will run you $2,100-$2,900 plus install and tune.
you will need to upgrade the fuel pump and exhaust with it too.

I just spent $2,800 on AFR heads, BBK intake, TB, fuel pump, FPR and gauge, headers, and all gakets and bolts.
plus have some install and tuning cost. expect to see 350hp at the crank.

lol... i see you chose to use the on the outside hp rating. While 25 hp gain just from headers exhaust and an airfilter might seem high how about the 15 hp gain if you had looked at the lower number i posted? Besides I haven't dynoed the car and I am just running on guestimates I've gotten from others. So what if im optimistic, sue me?
