MAF Kit

Im converting my 88 to MAF, but I am also getting 30lbl injectors. The only full conversion kit I can find is from summit but with the kit I will get the MAF sensor calibrated for 19lbl injectors. Can any one let me know of a kit that has a MAF sensor that is calibrated for the 30lbl. Or if any one has anything to say about converting to MAF. I know there are many ways to do this, so is a full kit(MAF sensor, computer, inlet tubes, and wireing harness)the best way. Its hard to tell but your motor looks pretty stock. Are you sure you need 30lb injectors?

I would buy that kit, then buy an aftermarket MAF that is cal'd for the injectors.

The MAF that comes with that kit is the stock 5.0 HO meter. All Ford MAF meters are calibrated to the computer, not the injector.

Unless you can get a custom tune on the computer with a chip, just use an aftermarket MAF.
You will have all kinds of interchangability issues trying to use Ford meters.

screw that kit... way too expensive. Just do a search on ebay for A9L ecu and harness then buy your aftermarket MAF sensor and a CAI

Just do a search in the forums... I know black snake did a good step by step for MAF conversions and what you need.
