Default Here is a question for you guys

I am not looking into rolling the fenders or anything. But I want to know what is the biggest wheel and tire combo (to include complete sizes) that I can go with for my rear. Not looking for anything to stick out, just the biggest meats I can fit without them sticking out. It is a 1991 GT.

[sm=bounceybounce.gif] <---- Looks like my son when he gets to ride in my Stang. LOL.

Not looking for something with a ford rim size. Leaning towards an aftermatket rim. Something no one else has. Not worried about using a 16 or even a 15 inch rim. Just want to know the sizes for the rims and the tires. Gonna keep close to the stock height so the Speedometer does not change. No guesses alowwed. LOL. thanks for the input so far guys.

15x10 6.5" BS is fairly common. I run this wheel with a 275/60-15 drag radial. I could go bigger on the tire. You can go with a 28x10.5 slick or a 28x12.50 ET Street without slicing into the wheelwells. Keeping stock height will help since most guys swap to a Cobra rear bumper or cut into the GT bumper to clear the 28" tires. If you're staying with a 26", I'd run a 26x10.50 ET Street.
