Default rear end ratio

wondering if some one can help me figure out my rearend ratio. i know its been changed b/c my speedo is off. when im keeping up with traffic speed limit 65 im reading 85. i watch the mile markers go by and for every mile i click over 1.2 mi. i know those markers are not exact but the must be close. also my gas gauge dosent work so i have to watch my mileage and it figures out to about 27 mpg and i know that cant be right. i am running 15 inch rims with stock tires. any idea other than pulling the cover off the pumpkin and looking (dont have a new seal) would be great. btw i have a 1990 5.0 four speed auto with a/c.
