Default Back fire with open headders, (shoots flame)

Ok this is the deal. wensday i am going to get my exhuast put on , now i have to drive it there with open headders, When i start the car up i get some back fire. Is this ok ?, because I do not want to mess anyting up.

The backfire and flames coming out is normal. I wouldn't recommend you drive open header that flame can catch your car on fire.

It does not shoot out a constant flame just a pop, but i am going to slap on the ol rusty h pipe and mufflers are still on, drive there in the morning. I will get the clips of the headders and then the muffles on the car. WE ARE DOING NO CATSSS.
