Default RE: ashtray cover help

On ours someone put a screw into it on the rear hinge looking peice and left hte spring in it. It worked really good but my dad wanted it to work better so we put another screw in the front higne looking peice and it works like a charm now. It opens smoothly and closes smoothly. Just take 2 sheet metal screws and put them in.
