Default exhaust question

i have decided to buy bbk shorty equal length headers and a bbk o/r h-pipe. i just bought flowmasters (40 series 2 chamber)to go with it. i was wondering if this would be loud and if it would sound "cleaner". i also want to know how much horsepower ill get from this. my 5.0 is mostly stock. And i also wanted to know if the o/r h is legal or not

Default RE: exhaust question

I just got that same setup on my 91 GT and it sounds really great......Yes it is loud but sounds very clean and toned...I could feel the low end power when i put just my h-pipe on before i got headers you feel it.....and you love to listening to it.....I dont know how must HP p/b like 20HP but Im not sure......The O/R h-pipe isnt legall if you have to pass emmisson testing but as long as you have mufflers you should be fine

if your state has emmision laws then its ilegal. otherwise no. ... yeah its going to be louder. as far as hp the gains are minimal.
