Default shuttering

So this just started today, but when I take off in first that car shutters or shakes a bit while releasing the clutch. Did it about 7 outta 10 times cold and warm and hot.

Clutch going on ya think, or tranny?

Id say something clutch related. OUrs whould want to shake really bad before we did the tranny rebuild and clutch swap. Onthing that was bad in the tranny other than bearing was 2nd gear. If you have a lot of time to allow the car to be torn apart take the tranny down and inspect the clutch espcially the throwout bearing and if thats shot replace it and if you have enough money left rebuild the tranny whie your at it (if it has a lot of miles on it).

When was the last time the fluid was changed (preferably flushed instead of a simple change?)

fluid flush was around 10,000miles now havent taken great care of the tranny cause i want to get a tko or t56...but now i cant bring my self to dump another 2 grand in the car....somebody on here made me add up what i have spent on my car and i was about sick, since then the most expensive thing ive bought for it was a $90 shift light, which I really do like...

throw out bearing nd clutch have about 10,000 mile on em, tranny has about 20,000 since rebuild but is now behind a 300rwhp engine.

Another recent related thing to happen was my clutch cable snapped, also 10,000 miles on it

Maybe you dont have the cable adjusted properly. If you dont have an adjustable one iwth aftermarket quadrant you might want to look into one. A firewall adjuster is nice also.

yeah its adjustable at the fork and firewall. It might not be adjusted right, but damn im tired of trying to figure out how to adjust it right. I mean hell, it engages and releases all the way. I guess Ill turn it a couple more turns and see how that reacts.
