You might be able to hear the intake a little more, but not much, if any. Your throttle response should be a little better and you'll probably notice a little SOTP gain. As for the upper: 1 of the holes on the firewall side runs to the PCV valve, your vacuum tree goes in the other. On the radiator side, 1 goes to your purge soleniod (by the charcoal canister) and I believe I plugged the other. I actually just got rid of the charcoal canister b/c the "T" on top of the purge solenoid broke...I routed the hard plastic tube into the fenderwell by my filter. So both tubes on the radiator side of my intake are plugged, as well as the one on the back of the intake (facing the driver's side fender). I'll get you pics tomorrow if you still need them. Good luck!!

u can buy those little gold fittings at a hardware/auto store. u prolly have to drill a hole in the vavle cover.

HIGHLY recommend going ahead and installing new IAC valve.

my idle smoothed right out with one, and they only cost $30 at autozone for aftermarket brand
