anyone know how to take the windshield wiper arms off?

stupid question, i know. all the other cars ive had to deal w/ just have a nut holding the arm down, but on a pony theres that little clip. i didnt wanna pull too hard on it so i dont break anything, any advice? mines a '90 by the way.

well, not sure about this but I just wiggle mine back and forth and they come off, I thoguht the clip was to hold the wiper arm up while you washed the windshield[&:]

Theres a little clip or loop that holds it on pull it back and it comes off.

Lift the clip, and pull, gently, it may require you work it back and forth a little.

Yeah, pull on the wiper arm so it's up in the air and the clip should be able to come up easily.
Wiper should come off with no problems after that.

lift wiper off the windshield.slide the clip out,lower wiper arm back down against the clip,this takes the load off of the spring,lift wiper arm straight off the shaft.
