Default Powermaster Alternator

I'm thinkign of going with a 140 amp Powermaster alternator and wondered if there would be any other reason for me to do it besides if I go woth an electric f5an, which I am planning to do soon. I know if you're running a serious sound system this is necessary, but any other reason?

That's really good to knwo and I actually just ordered it from Summit.

How long did it take you to install it and what did it involve? I'll have mine in a couple days.
