Usually people running the roush heads are putting them on some pretty heavy motors...hp wise. So i would imagine a set of fresh springs would be in order if he was running a pretty large cam and had raced the engine frequently.

The stock Roush heads would let your motor do that, and honestly im not looking to take on anymore...im full up right now, i got 3 sets of sh*tty E7's and 1 set of D0OE 351 heads sitting out there calling my name and i have only started on the DO0E's no time to work on them except the weekends. Not to mention the price of you shipping them out to me and me shipping them back would probably make it cheaper to just buy some nice aluminum heads . I did it for about 1 1/2 yrs at my uncles machine shop...i got tired of that quickly, doing that all day long, 5 days a week wears you down. [:'(]

But im thinking of either the AFR 185's or the Roush heads now. Either of those would put me well past the goal im setting myself. With either of those i can make the power i want.

Yea, i was thinking that to, but i had a friend about a year ago who had a 331 with those RPM's that had some bowl work done to them and he motor dyno'd it at 406crank hp. So maybe he did something to that motor that i dunno about. [&:]
