i have a 94 mustang gt . i am using crower rods and my chilton says the rod bolt torque should be 19-24 ft-lbs. That seems really low to me. At my work we always torque them to 50ftlbs given thats on a chevy. could someone give me a little insight on this please.

I think its something like 26 ft.lbs. (off the top of my head), but definitly check it. GET A DAMN SERVICE MANUAL.
