Lets try this again

First run(first ever in this car)let the tires down to 20psi, ran a 14.86 spinning in first pretty bad.
The other mustang never left the line(engine trouble)
Dont mind the chrome tape around the pass side window, still trying to get that off, haha

Next run I let the tires down to 12psi, left at around 2300rpm and the tires hooked harder than I thought... the car kinda fell on its face but still put down a 14.6
The 2005 GTO still owned me(ran a 13.35)

Last run I took it to about 3000rpm and dumped the clutch... car hooked hard enough to pop the rear hatch. When it opended it made a loud BANG which scared the crap out of me, so I let off for a second... realized what it was in the rearview mirror and got back in it and still ran a 14.91 I also found out on the way home I blew out the right rear shock on the last run(I put the shock on weds brand new)
Ran a 99ish dodge ram deisel which, after the black smoke cleared, ran a 13.87

In the end I am very happy with the times on a mostly stock car. I feel I could have run a 14.5 with a good launch and not breaking things.

lol, didnt see both threads :P

I am wonder how low those launching RPMs are..... maybe I am crazy but I launch (Just once I swear) from 3500 and it bits HARD, no tire spin at all, stock 5-oh with some yokohomas at 30 psi. Why did I not break anything??? Am I really crazy for launching at that RPM?
