Default Vacum Gauge?

alright guys, i picked up a vacum gauge to help me tune my carb. I have never used one before so how do I? what numbers am i looking for with it? any help would be much appreciated.

Ha, i bought a vacuum gauge for the same reason early on, only to find out my stroker has no vacuum at idle to tune with... anyway, mine came with instructions on how to do it.... im lookin right now...
