maf installed, bad idle problem

Default maf installed, bad idle problem

so i installed my maf... it was all ford parts except 4 the harness, which i bought brand new off of stangparts...i wire it all up n bam, idle wants to jump up n down n then cut off...its drivin me crazy and ive done mulitple ddifferent things...tomorrow ima mess with my tps and do a little idle air checkin, but i need some ideas if that doesnt work...im gonna go through my wiring again because it was all splicing i did, and since i have an 88 i didnt have to mess with vss or fuel pump wiring...i do know my o2 sensor are probably bad seeings how i had a lil carb cleaner incedent, and im pullin a code 66...with all that said, anybody got any ideas...help will b much appreciated

i had the same problem but make sure u have the right injectors that go with the calibration of the maf. my problem was that the pcv valve was unhooked. just go around and check all vaccume hoses and stuff make sure all together. thats all i can say. o u prolly already did this but unhook the bat.

cant figure it out...everywhere i look says let car warm up n then disconnect idle air n reset to 700rpms...but when i try n do it, i warm it up disconnect it n bam, cuts right off

SO THIS IS A fms MASS? WHAT SIZE mm? i HAVE FOUND IN SOME MAF CHANGE i HAD TO DRILL i VERY SMALL HOLE IN THE t/b BLADE

disconnect negative battery terminal just to reset the computer. hook it back up after a minute or so. disconnect the idle air, then let it warm up like that. while its warm (and running), make any adjustments to the idle speed. then shut it off and reconnect the idle air. then fire it up and see how that goes.
not sure if it will work but cant hurt to try
