RE: ****ing waste of 2.4k?!?!?
i set the timing at 10deg have 92 oct in there, reset the bat with the gray pug out when i set the timing. not sure on fuel pressure. i was told it will backfire like it does (only through the TB) cause the timing is to low

a look rocker will cause problems like that too, they sell compresssion testers, you screw them into where the spark plugs goes and disconnect the coil wire and it'll give a number, if theres no compression in one cylinder check the rockers

Welcome to the wonderful world of doing a H/C/I swap
noticed all my post lately?
this is normal, it just takes some time and patience to hunt out all the germlins.
1. you have a SN95 computer which are notorious for not liking cam swaps
2. check TPS voltage
3. make sure dizzy is correct and timing is right.
4. bump timing up more, i just set mine to 18* this morning
try 12-14 see if it smooths out some.
5. clean or replace IAC valve
6. pull the codes and have the EEC do self diagnostic
( stangnet.com has a very good sticky that walks you thru it )
7. double check for vac leaks, a second set of eyes found one I missed.
A dyno tune will help with cam swap and verify A/F ratio's

Did you get the exhaust leak fixed in the header? Cause if its leaking before the O2 sensor than your computer will be getting false reading and then in turn making your engine run incorrectly.
But it really does sound like timing. What has been said above should be a good start for you.
