Go with what you like, to each their own! If done right I wouldn't see why they wouldn't hold up?

Probably cost you a couple hundred dollars to have them chromed, but IMO just put that money towards getting a new set of wheels. I use to have turbines and was so glad when I finally got rid of them. They're ugly and impossible to clean. If you don't want to spend to much money just buy a set of used 5 star pony wheels, an inch bigger and alot cleaner. But hey to each their own and you will be the only one on the block with chromed turbines.

+1 on the 1993 Cobra's, very good looking wheels. I prefer the silver over the chrome but billyboy seems to be a fan of chrome.

i have a set of turbines from my car and had always been interested in this idea, i bet it'd be pretty expensive becuse of all the ridges and tight spots, get a quote and see what they'd want for them, or else you could powdercoat them, either way i say they'd look pretty sweet and it'd be an original idea... good luck
