Default Does it sound like i need a new O2 sensor?

one of my sensors is looking like it was squeezed with a pliers and my idle is very rough. the motor is stock and has exhaust. the idle varies by about 300 rpms sometimes and my check engine light comes on often.

Read the codes and see what it says, that should tell you.

It sounds like a bad O2 sensor, but pull the codes just to be sure. You can take it to AutoZone and get it checked for free. If you're coming up with a code telling you your engine is running lean then buy new sensors. While you're at it, you may want to give your TB and IAC a good cleaning. Quick and easy to do.

Run the KOEO and KOER self-tests....when you mention "no error codes.", do you mean you got code 11 (system pass)?...or couldn't access the codes?

pass code
not uncommon for O2 sensor problems. When i tried pulling mine about 30 minutes after it went back off, there were no stored codes. It would come on after running a bit, then when I shut the car off it would go off for awhile and stay off until it was running for a few minutes again.

Run it until it's on, then have them pull codes.

Mine would do that when my MAF was really dirty, try and clean that too.
