Default fixing a leak

ok well sorry for all the posts latly but im jsut having issues not ot mention i havnt slept in about 33 hours now.(up at 7 am yesterday)

well after i rebolts up my h pipe i have a pretty good leak from the header collecter to the h pipe. i tryed cranking those bolts a little harder and it didnt help at all. im not sure what else i can do to try and stop it but anyone got ideas??? bbk shorties and stock h pipe.

im thinking i take all the header bolts back out about 3 good turns, loosten the h pipe from both sides of the collecter, than tighten it up hard?

Take the header off and see if the flange is level. Just set it on a good flat surface and look. If you bought it from a place like jegs just call them and they'll send you a return label and they'll send you a new set of headers. Not sure about other places.

At least you didnt have a L/T that was bent and you didnt realize it until you had the starter and bell housing back in. Luckily the tranny was out.
