now the only problem i am having is with the alternator is doesnt charge for crap....ive heard of alternators not working once you get higher in hp and have alot of electronics....as for electronics i have a black magic fan, digital gauges, msd, added on...i didnt think this was enough electronics but maybe now that i am making hgher hp numbers....what do you think?

You just need a 3G alternator. I have the 2G and i cant even drive at night because my headlights are to dim[&:] So just upgrade to a 3G

for sure, the electric fan is over taxing your alternator

go down to local alternator rebuild shop ......... you want a 3G 130amp alt.

will have to grind moutning bracket a little and make some real minor
wiring changes.

when you get close send me a PM and i'll walk you thru it

the factory alt. isnt worth the metal its made of. get a 3g alt. preferebly around 150amp. no more chargering issues again. lots of threads on the forum how to do it too so it will be easy

Got to dyno my car this weekend at Texas Hot Rods. the numbers are 346 hp and 353 ft pounds of torque. I am happy with the numbers. [sm=smiley20.gif]

You're making that with the mods in your signature? That's not rwhp though is it?

yes thats rwhp....it was on the mustang dyno and he tuned it with the air fuel as well....before the tune i had 318hp and 302 torque, my a/f was 16:1

he left it a little rich so whenever i move to dallas i will be dropping down 4000 feet...so everything should work out nicely.

either the dyno is no calibrated right or your running a bunch of compression and not telling us. or possibly, but highly unlikely, your spinning that motor to about 8 grand

no dyno is in perfect working order we used the ROL head gaskets to raise the compression but wasnt expecting that much....ill scan the dyno sheets as soon as i can but i only have access to a computer while at school, and there is no scanner available, so itll have to wait til i can get to my dads to scan it....but i will as soon as i get there in september.

I really dont see how those numbers are possible...... is that on a 302? Have you had it rebuilt? What compression are you running? NO BOOST RIGHT? Are those the 165 comp heads?

It's really no sweat. Just did one. However, there is a nice sticky in the tech articles about it.
